El Pueblo gives a big thank you to all who came out and enjoyed themselves at our third annual Sabor de las Americas Festival.  Everyone had a great time dancing to the DJ-ing skills of DJ Rico, the musical talents of Fredy Omar and his Latin Band from New Orleans, and the Gulf Coast’s very own La Marca band.  El Pueblo was also honored to have the folkloric dance troupe; Grupo Folklorico Panama Sin Fronteras, perform for the second year.  We broke our participation record and drew a large crowd this year.

We met our goal in celebrating the Hispanic Heritage of our community and showcased the many varying cultures of the Americas.  Everyone enjoyed great authentic food and fantastic music.  Each year our festival grows more exciting, fun-filled and culturally diverse because of your participation and and attention.
